| Winter 2008 Classes |
Bridge one -- This class is for all persons who have never played bridge and those who need help with bidding and the new bidding systems.
Play-of-the-hand -- The emphasis is on how to play the hand in order to make your contract and how to play different card combinations. Bidding is reviewed.
Defense -- Since you defend fifty percent of the time, this class is a must.
Conventions -- A class that introduces the student to common conventions in use today. Students should have experience in bridge or at least taken both clubs and diamonds classes.
Competitive Bidding gives you the tools to continue the auction when the opponents interfere.
Intermediate and advanced classes -- are available by permission of the instructor. If you are a student new to the Indianapolis Bridge Center please call the bridge center and speak to the manager concerning these classes.

Thursday mornings at 9:00 beginning January 10th
Sunday evenings at 6:00 beginning January 13th
Bridge II - Play of the Hand:
Monday nights at 7:00 beginning January 7th
Wednesday mornings at 9:00 beginning January 9th
Bridge III- Defense
Wednesday nights at 7:00 beginning January 9th
Intermediate Bidding and Play:
Tuesday evenings at 6:00 beginning January 8th
Intermediate Defense -
Wednesday mornings at 9:00 beginning January 9th
Brush-up II-
Friday mornings at 9:00 beginning January 11th
Intermediate - Advanced declarer play
Friday mornings at 9:00
Play of the Hand (IMPS)
Monday 3:00 - 5:00
Conventions
Monday 3:00- 5:00
Practice Play
Saturday mornings at 10:00
Novice play -
Thursday mornings at 9:00
Sunday evenings at 6:00
The classes last 9 weeks and the fee is $100 which includes all materials.
If you wish to pay week to week the fee is $15 each lesson
The fee for the practice sessions and novice play is $6 per week.
